Blackboard Boot Camp x 3 (Staff Development)

Today we had another Carteret Community College Blackboard Boot Camp. It was a great experience and the group we facilitated today worked hard and asked some really great questions. As in the past Boot Camps that I have helped out in, I was able to co-teach Module 3 with Pre-Ah, showing how to use Audacity to edit podcasts and how to post to their Blackboard site.

This is a link to the Blackboard Survey Sample provided after this workshop. As you can see, the workshop proves to be helpful to many of those that attend.

Once my internship is over, I will be put on a  contract under the Title III grant to help instructors in the course design and technology implementation. This will be  my first “real money” with my new title. I hope that this will lead to future full-time employment somewhere where I can apply all my instructional technology and design skills. Only time will tell and the experience is great.

You have to start somewhere Rob and we all have to pay those dues. Thanks for your assistance with Bootcamp #3 - you did a great job co-teaching Module III. I’m glad you will be able to work for us for a month - we will see what happens after that.

LOOK! WE’RE BLOGGIN!!!! I’m loving it!

Thanks for the comment! I see that creating a link to my blog added it as a comment to your blog! I think this particular group of learners were fun to work with.

Have a great weekend and I’ll see ya Monday!
